Quartix joins the best in the West
Quartix Ltd, the fast-growing, Newtown-based vehicle tracking specialist, has announced its inclusion with the top four finalists in the National Business
Awards, 2007 AXA ‘Small to medium size business of the year award - Wales and
West Regional Programme’.
Sponsored by Orange, the prestigious award-scheme is designed to recognise
outstanding business achievement; with particular emphasis placed on ethical
growth and innovation, underpinned by strong financial performance. Entry to the
SME category is open to any organisation recording turnover of less than £10
million in the past financial year.
Established in 2001, Quartix has recorded consistently high annual growth rates
and has recently relocated within Newtown to more spacious premises to
accommodate an expanding staff.
The Quartix real-time, internet-based vehicle tracking system is used by over
1,400 UK cross-sector companies, in more than 10,000 commercial vehicles to hone
fleet efficiency, improve productivity and customer service, enhance vehicle
security and assist with meeting duty of care requirements. The award-winning
GPRS system allows 24/7 live-tracking of the mobile workforce from any online
PC, via secure, map-screen web-page. The user-friendly, ‘live-on-the-web’
tracking service is complemented by online, historical activity logs, copies of
which are delivered by email, at no extra cost.
Quartix’ latest TCSV tracking terminal, launched in December, 2006 - weighing
just 60gms and taking up only as much space as a matchbox - is believed to be
one of the most highly-integrated vehicle telematics systems available in Europe
and unleashes the potential for myriad new applications together with further
rapid company growth and development.
The constant dedication of the Quartix team to providing the utmost in customer
service and after sales care has resulted in 100% client retention and 40% of
annual sales from repeat orders and referrals.
Sales and Marketing Director, Andy Kirk says, “We are delighted to have been
selected as one of the top four SME companies in Wales and the West; it’s a real
endorsement of our commitment to quality and customer service. We work hard to
bring clients a user-friendly, cost-effective means of cutting vehicle operating
costs and managing duty of care obligations; our new TCSV terminal has proved a
resounding success and we take pride in our strong reputation for system
reliability and customer satisfaction.”
